Well, it looks like the Final Fantasy XV system requirements have been revealed. We actually anticipated it to be much higher, but this is good.

Final Fantasy XV PC System Requirements

Final Fantasy XV system requirements

The system requirements for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition have been revealed via the Microsoft store. Surprisingly, the minimum requirements are not too hefty so even some more dated rigs should be able to handle the epic fantasy JRPG.

For the minimum requirements, you’ll need a GTX 760 graphics card, either an Intel Core i5 2400 or AMD FX 6100 processor, and at least 8 GBs of RAM. As for the recommended specs you’ll have to have a GTX 1060, an Intel Core i7 3770 or an AMD FX 8350, and last but not least 16 GBs of RAM. Considering the GTX760 released a few years ago, most players who own gaming computers should be able to at least run Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition on lower settings.

Minimum Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 (3.1 GHz) or AMD FX 6100 (3.3 GHz)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or equivalent
  • RAM: 8 GBs
  • OS: Windows 10
  • DirectX 11

Recommended

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 (3.4 GHz) or AMD FX 8350 (4 GHz)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or equivalent
  • RAM: 16 GBs
  • OS: Windows 10
  • DirectX 11

A PC port of Final Fantasy XV was announced back in August over the summer at Gamescom. It’ll reportedly support 8K resolution and HDR10 whereas the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions use checkerboard resolution to achieve 4K on both consoles. The director behind XV, Hajime Tabata, said that his team was also looking into the possibility of adding a level editor to the game.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will be available sometime in early 2018. The game is also available right now for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Pokdepinion: Well #PCMasterRace, the Final Fantasy XV system requirements should definitely nothing to worry about. For the casual PC gamers, it’s honestly not too bad unless your PC is really outdated. Your time to experience Noctis’s adventure is almost here.
