NVIDIA Unveils 65-inch 4K 120Hz HDR Monitor - In Collaboration With ASUS, Acer, And HP! 21PC gaming has now made a leap to a giant screen with the introduction of big format gaming displays (BFGDs). The combination of 120Hz HDR display with NVIDIA G-Sync together with NVIDIA SHELD delivers a smooth gaming experience and your media streaming all on a giant screen.

With G-SYNC that synchronizes the display’s 120Hz refresh rate, its G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate delivers a highly responsive, smooth, tear, free gaming experience that is unmatched by any display of this size. It also supports video playback at native framerates. This includes popular 23.976, 24, and 25 FPS formats. It matches the screen’s refresh rate to the video’s source’s actual frame rate, eliminating interpolation and presenting the video content as it was intended to be viewed.

Most of the issues with big screen displays are that their latency is quite high. Now that is all about to change with BGFD. With 4K HDR display, it features a full-array direct backlight, 1,000-nit peak luminance and DCI-P3 color gamit for better visual quality.

Its integrated SHIELD allows users to switch between gaming and other forms of entertainment. It comes with a SHIELD remote and game controller, allowing easy navigation and access to your favorite streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon Video, Youtube, Hulu, and the likes.

In addition, it also has support for Google Assistant, which can be controlled simply by using your voice. As far as availability goes, it is currently only available for hands-on demos at CES at the NVIDIA gaming suite and ASUS ROG showcase room at the Wynn Las Vegas. That being said, general availability is expected this summer when pricing and further specifications will be soon announced.

Pokdepinion: For gamers, the problem of getting a big monitor is always the refresh rate issue. Let’s hope with the introduction of the monitor, it will change that perception.
