OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition Officially Revealed — Packs 10GB RAM With 30W Warp Charging

OnePlus has finally revealed of the latest OnePlus 6T McLaren edition. Previously, it was thought that it would pack 50W Warp Charging with the package but it seems that it will only power up to 30W.

The new McLaren edition sports a different orange scheme on the accessories as well as the device itself to match McLaren’s theme. There’s also the McLaren logo at the lower bottom of the rear, just to show how exclusive the device is. Aesthetics aside, it packs the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset from the original OnePlus 6T but offers a bigger 10GB RAM that’s paired with 256GB of internal storage.

Besides that, the new variant supports a 30W charger which is faster than the original’s offering, and mind you, it was already quite fast. According to OnePlus, the new Warp Charge is up to 50% faster than the previous to charge the phone’s 3700mAh battery.

With the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, it comes with an orange braided charge cable, orange headphone dongle, as well as a black charger. In addition to that, they’ve provided a hardcover book that showcase the brand’s auto exploits over the years.

Despite the company has revealed that it is priced at US$699 (around RM2927), it is yet to be confirmed that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will make its way here to Malaysia.
