Samsung Malaysia Launched Galaxy S10 into Space

The latest and hottest thing happening with Samsung right now is their new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. There are three devices to be precise; the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. In a rather interesting move, the folks over at Samsung Malaysia is launching the Samsung Galaxy S10 into space.

This very same smartphone being sent 80,000 ft above ground and into space will be set to capture a bird’s eye view of our own planet Earth. This grand feat was done to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the Galaxy series. Apart from that, it is also done to demonstrate the prowess of the camera on the flagship device. Interestingly, it is also Malaysia’s first smartphone brand to send their device into orbit.

Yoonsoo Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, said:

While the Samsung Galaxy S10 is being sent into space, the public can join an online contest called “Be Unbeaten” to predict where the smartphone will land by dropping a pin on mapped locations. The ten pinned locations closest to where the smartphone lands will win a brand new Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.

The “Be Unbeaten” contest will be happening from 1^st March to 4^th March 2019 so you will have the weekend to guess where the smartphone will eventually land. You can be one of the ten lucky winners who will walk away with a brand new smartphone this year.
