Snapchat has recently launched a new feature that enables their users to support Covid-19 response efforts in the form of AR lens.

Snapchat Covid-19 AR Lens

The feature was introduced in 33 countries, which includes Malaysia. You can simply take out a RM10 note and use your Snapchat camera and tap on it. It will then trigger an AR experience.

Once that’s popped out, it will show how a potential donation could support the World Health Organization’s (WHO) immediate response effort that includes tracking the spread of the virus,, ensuring patients are getting the care that they need and providing frontline workers with critical supplies.

The lens was launched in partnership with the United Nations Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. You can access these lenses in several ways, including in the lens carousel, Snapcode, or simply by using Scan.
