HUAWEI’s latest addition to their lineup of wearables gets a new party trick: SpO2 monitoring. The HUAWEI Watch GT2e will be receiving an OTA update to add the feature to the smartwatch, enabling users to monitor their blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). If you don’t know what’s SpO2, well you can check out our review of the HONOR Band 5.

To measure your SpO2 level with the HUAWEI Watch GT2e, all you need to do is to go to the SpO2 mode, stay still for a few minutes and the HUAWEI Watch GT2e will give you your results. The results will also be logged in the HUAWEI Health to give you a record of your SpO2 levels.

Aside from the newly added SpO2 monitoring, the HUAWEI Watch GT2e sports a plethora of fitness tracking functionalities. The HUAWEI Watch GT2e is capable of tracking 15 professional and 85 custom workout modes, in addition to sleep tracking, stress monitoring and all-day heart rate monitoring.
