Moto X4 Officially Unveiled – Comes With Landmark Detection!

Today, Lenovo Mobile and Motorala Mobility officially announced their line up from the Moto X-series, the Moto X4 which features a new Landmark Detection feature.

The new Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch FHD (1080 x 1920) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Being IP68 water resistant, that should come as a relieve for those concern on water spillage on your phone (We don’t advise you to go swimming with the device though). So say goodbye to those accidental spills, splashes and puddle problems.

With the new device, you’ll be the life of the party with its wireless sound system, which allows users to share the sound by connecting up to four Bluetooth audio devices at the same time.

The brand new device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chip to power it. Coming with 4GB RAM, it has an internal storage of 64GB with the option of expansion of up to 12TB via microSD.

Under the hood, it packs a non-removable 3000mAh battery and comes with TurboPower charging, which can give you six hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.

Over in the camera’s department, it features a dual camera on the rear. One lens has a 12MP Dual Autofocus Pixel lense with f/2.0 aperture while the other hosts a 8MP ultra-wide angle with 120 degree field of view lens.

At the front, there’s a pretty good camera too. Take pleasure in taking your selfies with a 16MP f/.2.0 with 4MP adaptive low light mode. Adaptive low light mode merges 4 adjacent pixels to enhance the lighting and deliver brighter images under dark conditions.

Coming in as a new feature is the Landmark Detection feature. To utilize it, point the lens at an object of interest and it will automatically ask if you want to learn more about what you’re seeing. You can even scan business cards and quickly add the info to your contacts. Moto X4 also has Face Filters  included, something selfie lovers would enjoy.

The new Moto X4 is now available at Motorola stores, authorized dealers nationwide and their official e-store on Lazada Malaysia. It retails at a price of RM1899 and is available in two color variants; Super Black and Sterling Blue.

Pokdepinion: I like the the built of the X4, especially the rear finish. Camera quality was good and for that price, I would say it’s decent.
