Xiaomi Malaysia has recently unveiled their latest entry-level device and new additions to the Redmi 9 family with the introduction of Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.

The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C features a MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 respectively and both of them come with a 6.53-inch Dot Drop display as well as a big 5000mAh battery under the hood.

There’s only 1 variant for both of them where they come with 2GB RAM paired with 32GB internal storage. You could expand it however through microSD up to 512GB. Aside from that, they will run on the latest MIUI 12 based on Android 10.

The Redmi 9A will be available at RM359 while the Redmi 9C’s retail price is at RM429. Xiaomi Malaysia will however host a flash sale deal for the Redmi 9A on the 7th of July 2020 where you can get it at a cheaper price of RM319 on Lazada and Shopee.

Pokdepinion: I can’t say that I expect much in terms of the specifications considering that they are entry-level devices but hey, I can imagine getting one of these for my old folks. They’d probably appreciate the big display and battery.
