HONOR Hunter V700 announced from 7499 CNY

HONOR has finally released their gaming laptop, the HONOR Hunter V700. It does sport a really aggressive design with an excess of RGB lighting, but there is more to this laptop than just its gamer aesthetic, as it offers quite a few interesting features as well.

First and foremost, the illuminated vents host some serious cooling performance, with what seems to be a design inspired by ROG’s Active Aerodynamic System, raising up as you open the laptop to increase air intake by 40%. The cooling system also sport an anti-dust system that ejects dust between the fin stacks, which does seem like yet another design inspired by the ROG laptops. HONOR crammed two 12V fans with 79 blades each for some proper airflow through 240 0.1mm fins that provide a total of 75134mm² of surface area for effective heat dissipation.

Unlike your average laptop, the HONOR Hunter V700 packs a 16.1″ FHD display. The display runs at 144Hz and is capable of displaying 100% sRGB, which is pretty much par for the course by this point. What’s not really up to standard is the keyboard’s lighting. While the HONOR Hunter V700 arguably offers more lighting than the average gaming laptop, the keyboard only offers four-zone lighting. Audio might be impressive, with HONOR harnessing Nahimic 3D Audio for their first gaming laptop.

Last but not least, with the HONOR Hunter V700 being a part of HONOR’s ecosystem, you also get the full assortment of HONOR Magic-Link features like file transfer and screen recording, allowing you to share your gaming highlights more easily.

Prices are pretty competitive with the options available in Malaysia, however we aren’t sure if the HONOR Hunter V700 will even be available in Malaysia. If HONOR Malaysia decides to bring it in, we will be sure to update you guys, so stay tuned!
