Noctua has just announced the new members of their blacked-out chromax.black series of air coolers. The Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black and NH-U9S chromax.black will offer enthusiasts who want great cooling performance without sacrificing style excellent coolers to pick.

Noctua’s unique chromax.black treatment entails black coated heatsinks, black fans, black anti-vibration pads, black fan clips and black mounting parts. Noctua puts a lot of work into the coating material and process, promising that the chromax.black versions perform just as well as their non-coated counterparts.

Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black

The Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black is an asymmetrical single version of the Noctua NH-D15, of which there is already a chromax.black version of. The asymmetry provides better clearance for the first PCIe slot, which might be blocked on more cramped mATX and ATX motherboards.

Meanwhile the single fan design avoids memory compatibility issues, although users can still clip on an additional fan to the front of the Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black if they need more cooling performance. You can get the Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black for $89.90 (~RM374).

Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black

For those who need great cooling but in a less gargantuan form factor, the Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black crams an insane 5 heatpipes into a 95mm cooler. There will be zero clearance issues with even ITX motherboards, and it is only 125mm tall, which means that there won’t be any issues with most cases as well. The Noctua NH-U9S will cost $64.90 (~RM270).

On top of the new chromax.black coolers, Noctua has also released retail sets of their signature brown anti-vibration pads for their 200mm, 140mm, 92mm and 80mm fans. Each set comes with 16 pads for up to two fans. These come in at $6.90 (~RM28.70) per set.

Pokdepinion: I do think the Noctua chromax.black coolers will go great with MSI’s UNIFY motherboards.
