HUAWEI Mate 40 Series Sold Out Like Hotcakes in China at Launch

The new HUAWEI Mate 40 Series recently kicked off its sales launch in China, where units were cleaned off the shelves in only 28 seconds! Customers reportedly lined up in the wee hours of the morning with some still weren’t able to get their hands on the all-new HUAWEI Mate 40 Series. The Mate 40 Series are reportedly sold out on official HUAWEI e-commerce platforms as well.

Launched last month, the HUAWEI Mate 40 series is the first HUAWEI device to incorporate the world’s first 5 nanometer 5G SoC in the Kirin 9000. The Kirin 9000 Series is fully equipped for 5G and is capable of handling intensive computations as well as multi-tasking operations.

The series features a Space Ring Design with an Ultra Vision Cine Camera system that includes a 50MP wide angle Ultra Vision Camera, a 20MP ultra wide Cine Camera, a 12MP Telephoto Camera with OIS and a laser camera. The HUAWEI Mate 40 Series also comes with a dual selfie camera setup, a 12MP main lens and a 3D Depth Sensing Camera.

The HUAWEI Mate 40 Series also comes equipped with a slew of new smart features including Smart Gesture Control, for total hands-free control of the device. Other features include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage on the Mate 40 Pro while the Mate 40 Pro+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, the HUAWEI Mate 40 Series comes equipped with a 4,400mAh battery and supports HUAWEI’s SuperCharge technology, 66W wired changing and 50W wireless charging.

Pokdepinion: To be honest, I’m not surprised at all by this. Despite it’s issues, HUAWEI is still a very popular brand with a very loyal fanbase and of course their phones will still sell well.
