Cyberpunk 2077 Is Going To Have A 43GB Update And A Day One Patch Upon Launch

Cyberpunk 2077, possibly the most anticipated game ever in recent memory, is finally around the corner, after years of development and a few frustrating delays. Those who have gotten their hands on the game early are now reporting a huge 43GB update to the game. What’s more is that a person from CD Projekt RED revealed that there will be another separate update after the game’s launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 is gonna be huge, literally

This comes after a YouTuber by the name of “DreamcastGuy”, who has an early copy of the game, posted on Twitter saying that the game has a 43.5GB update. That’s a pretty huge update especially considering the base game alone takes up 70GB already.

It’s an update but – fun twist – not the update we’ll have for launch. 😅

Turns out, that might not be the only patch Cyberpunk 2077 is going to have. CD Projekt RED’s PR Manager, Fabian Mario Döhla, replied to DreamcastGuy’s tweet saying that there’s going to be another update at launch.

Pokdepinion: This is crazy. First we get an update that’s more than half the size of the base game and now we’re getting another update on top of that! SMH I really pity those who have to brave through spotty internet speeds. Imagine their despair.
