Acer Releases New Predator Orion 3000 Desktop and Two Type-C Monitors

Acer Malaysia has just introduced their latest addition to the Predator Orion Series of AIO desktops, the Predator Orion 3000. Along with the new desktop, Acer is also bringing in two new Type-C, 27-inch and 34-inch monitors with the Predator XB273U GX and Acer CB342CK C. These two monitors 99% Adobe RGB and 99% sRGB wide colour gamut for users who prefer bigger screens for gaming or entertainment.

Predator Orion 3000

The Predator Orion 3000 comes equipped with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 SUPER, 8GB of RAM that’s upgradeable to 64GB which ensures that the desktop can tackle a wide range of games. It also comes with Stable Killer E2600 for high-speed gigabit network performance as well as Wi-Fi 6 for high-speed, low-latency wireless performance.

The Predator Orion 3000 also packs dual custom-engineered FrostBlade fans for optimum cooling while gaming. You can customise the RGB colours of the fans as well as the vertical light bars present at the front of the case via the Predator Sense software. The Predator Orion 3000 also features optional EMI-compliant tempered glass side panel shields on the case.

Predator XB273U GX

The Predator XB273U GX comes with 27-inch WQHD Agile-Splendor IPS display panel that supports overclock to 270Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time. The monitor also supports 65W power delivery from USB Type-C and is NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible.

The Predator XB273U GX monitor is VESA HDR 400 certified, with a native and DisplayHDR brightness of 400 nits. Thanks to its 99% AdobeRGB wide colour gamut with Delta E<2, the monitor is able to produce vivid pictures. The Predator XB273U GX is also ergonomically designed, gamers can adjust the height, swivel, and tilt of the monitor to their liking.

Acer CB342CK C

The Acer CB342CK C monitor features a ZeroFrame design with 34-inch UltraWide QHD IPS panel that covers 99% sRGB wide colour gamut to deliver a natural and sharp visual experience in 178° wide viewing angle. The Acer CB342CK C also comes with Integrated 6-axis colour adjustment, allowing users to fine tune the monitor’s colours to their liking.

Users can adjust the tilt, swivel and height of Acer CB342CK C monitor for an ideal viewing position through the monitor’s Acer ErgoStand. It also comes with USB Type-C ports for easy connection to a desktop, laptop and even handphone, as well as 65W power delivery to the monitor.

The Acer CB342CK C monitor also features BlueLight Shield, Acer Flicker-less, Acer ComfyView and Low Dimming technology to reduce eye tiredness and provide comfy viewing even after long hours of usage.

Price and availability

The Predator Orion 3000 will feature two variants. One is powered by 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and retails for RM6,799, while the Intel Core i5 processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER retails at RM4,099. Both variants are available now for purchase at all Acer official online stores and all Acer authorised resellers nationwide.

The Predator XB273U GX is features a retail price of RM3,299 and is available now. The Acer CB342CK C monitor on the other hand, will be available by the end of December 2020 and will retail for RM1,799.

Pokdepinion: The Predator Orion 3000 looks pretty great in my opinion and the price isn’t all that bad either.
