Today marks the global launch of the new Xiaomi Mi 11 which packs the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset and offers a 108MP triple camera setup.

In case you’ve missed our previous article, Xiaomi has today announced the Mi 11 for the global market. The Xiaomi Mi 11 comes with new features that’s build for photography and videography such as the Video Night Mode, six AI cinema features, Magic Zoom mode and more.

The flagship device comes with HDR10+ support where it sports a 6.81-inch (WQHD+) AMOLED DotDisplay with 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition to its Harmon Kardon dual speakers, it comes with 480Hz touch sampling rate and in-screen fingerprint sensor.

At the back is a triple camera setup, consisting of a 108MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP telemacro shooter. For selfies, it sports a 20MP in-display front camera.

Powering it up is a Snapdragon 888 SoC, offering 5G connectivity and the smartphone is equipped with LiquidCool heat dissipation system, cooling your smartphone better. Aside from that, it comes with a 4600mAh battery under the hood which you can charge with its 55W GaN charger and 50W wireless charger.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 runs on the latest MIUI 12.5 where the company claims that it reduces CPU usage by up to 22% while power consumption by up to 15%.

Coming in with two variants; 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is announced at the starting price of €749 (roughly RM3,662). They haven’t announced the official price and release date for the Malaysian market just yet but we will update accordingly should there be news of it.

Pokdepinion: Hmm, the device does seem like it’s got everything. I just hope that it’s actually cheaper than the Euro pricing here in Malaysia.
