The Snapdragon 732G has just been announced with some iterative upgrades over the Snapdragon 730G. That’s not exactly saying a lot as even the Snapdragon 720G outperforms the Snapdragon 730G, but the Snapdragon 732G should outperform the Snapdragon 720G too, as far as its specifications go.

The Snapdragon 732G is expected to deliver improved CPU performance with the Kryo 470 cores running at 2.3GHz, a 100MHz bump over the Snapdragon 730G’s 2.2GHz. Qualcomm also boosted the Adreno 618 clocks to deliver 15% higher graphics performance, essentially putting it well above the Snapdragon 720G’s league.

It seems like Qualcomm now releases better binned variants of their processors in both the flagship and mid-range segments. For the flagship chips, their main partner looks to be ASUS, with the ROG Phones always being the first to offer the higher bins, while for the mid-range, Xiaomi appears to be their choice.

The Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition was released with the better binned Snapdragon 768G, which is based on the Snapdragon 765G. The first device to offer the Snapdragon 732G is slated to be the POCO X3 NFC, which has been teased on Twitter for quite some time now.
