Ralph Marshall to be 5G SPV CEO


Ralph Marshall’s experience in starting the rollout of the Maxis network gave him the credentials in starting the 5G telecommunications network in Malaysia.

PETALING JAYA: The rollout of the country’s 5G network will be overseen by a small board of professionals where Augustus Ralph Marshall, (pic) who oversaw the rollout of the Maxis and Astro networks, will be appointed CEO.

Heading the board of directors of the special purpose vehicle (SPV) as chairman will be the Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

The government-owned SPV will be in charge to build, own and manage a 5G network for nationwide commercial rollout.
