To finish off Ubisoft Forward at E3 2021 with a blast, the big surprise they had in store for gamers is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It’s clearly geared towards next gen gaming and it’s based on James Cameron’s Avatar.

From what we understand thus far, the game is built using their own Snowdrop game engine at Ubisoft’s internal studio, Massive. Apart from that, the game is a collaboration project between Ubisoft, James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Interactive.

At the moment, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is expected to launch sometime in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna. No exact release date was announced at the time of this writing.
