Rainbow Six Siege Has A Board Game Now Because Why Not
It appears that Rainbow Six Siege is coming as a board game soon as creators Ubisoft and Mythic Games has teamed up in creating just that through a Kickstarter project.
Rainbow Six Siege Board Game
The game is called 6: Siege – The Board Game where it was launched as a Kickstarter campaign just recently. Despite being announced recently, it has already passed the funding goal of $100,000, where around 3,658 backers (at the time of writing) has pledged roughly $500,000 to support the project.
It seems that the campaign closes on the 2nd of July 2021 and backers of the game will receive the game somewhere in June 2022. Inside of the “core box”, there’s 20 32mm-scaled mini Siege Operators, ranging from Castle, Fuse, IQ, Jaeger, and Thermite. There’s also one double-sided board, four armor panel standees, two gas overlays, 15 cardboard obstacles, and more.
Mythic Games aims to provide a “fast-paced asymmetrical” experience. As you’d expect, there’s Attackers and Defenders, just like in the real game. In order to win, you will need to complete your mission objectives accordingly.
It’s been six years years since the launch of Rainbow Six Siege. The game is playable on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. For more on the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews, stay tuned to Pokde.net.
Pokdepinion: As a collector of Warhammer 40K miniatures, I’m actually curious on how well the board game is. I wonder if they’ll make it available in different regions and how much is the official price for it.
