There hasn’t been a whole lot of news of new HONOR smartphones ever since the company departed from HUAWEI. Well in a recent Global CEO Tech Talk, HONOR’s CEO George Zhao has revealed a couple of interesting details about the upcoming Magic3 series.

George has said at the event that both the Magic3 and Magic3 Pro will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 888+ SoC.

In addition to that info, they’ve also released a teaser (as shown above), where the CEO has said that the word “magic” has more than one meaning. For starters, the cameras of the series are optimized to capture the most accurate gold and pink-ish hues in the sky during “Golden Hour”, which some may consider to be also known as “Magic Hour”.

This occurrence happens roughly about 15 to 20 minutes before sunset and is said to be the perfect moment of the day to take your photos.

Aside from that, it also relates to Blue Hour and Golden Hour, the colour variant names of the series where they represent the pink-gold hue on the horizon and the sky that lights up in dark blue.

We should learn more about the HONOR Magic3 series and update accordingly. Till then, stay tuned to Pokde.net for more on the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews.

Pokdepinion: Sounds kind of like a niche feature to have… but regardless, it’d definitely be something interesting to test out. Hopefully we’ll get to see it first hand if it arrives here in Malaysia.
