Samsung S Pen Pro Specifications Leaked

We already learned about the S Pen Pro’s existence during the Samsung Galaxy S21 series launch. However, we’ve only seen it in marketing materials and nothing more. The newest leak reveals more about it, along with a little extra for the S Pen Fold Edition.

Samsung S Pen Pro Specifications Leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first non-Note smartphone to receive official S Pen support. Unfortunately, it lack Bluetooth LE support so it’s not as complete as the one found on the Galaxy Note 20 series. This is where the S Pen Pro is supposed to step in but we didn’t really know much about it at its initial unveiling.

Based on the leak by tipster Chun, the S Pen Pro is said to have a 0.7mm yip and capable of sensing 4,096 levels of pressure. Furthermore, it’s said to be able to be used with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 with no fear of damaging the display. It can be charged via USB-C and it’s said to be capable of magnetically attaching to some cases on the rear of compatible smartphones.

Based on previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to have its own S Pen, dubbed the Fold Edition. Unfortunately, we do not know how different it will be from the one found on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the S Pen Pro. The Pro edition is expected to be priced at £70 (RM410) in the UK, most likely as a standalone unit with no cases.

There is an expectation that we will learn more about the S Pen Pro and the S Pen Fold Edition in the next Galaxy Unpacked on 11th August 2021. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: One would think that the Fold Edition would not have Bluetooth features as it would somewhat beat the purpose of getting an S Pen Pro, except for maybe better grip / handle. With Galaxy Unpacked just around the corner, we’ll definitely be able to learn more about both styluses, either directly on indirectly.
