ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition is a one-off concept based on the ROG Strix SCAR series

The Republic of Gamers has just developed a unique concept gaming laptop for top professional skateboarder, Nyjah Huston. The ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition laptop is based on the ROG Strix SCAR series, but with a unique, one-of-a-kind design tailored to celebrate Nyjah Huston’s brand and skateboard culture.

Even the packaging is unique, with the box turning into a skate park for fingerboards, and two fingerboards were included in the box. The ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition’s design is also heavily customized, designed to evoke imagery of street skateboarding, while also incorporating the key elements of the aggressive design of the ROG Strix SCAR designs.

The lid now features Huston’s logo as the centerpiece. The logo sports a textured finish that is supposed to evoke the look and feel of a skatepark. The logo also touts an additional “katana cut” RGB light bar, which complements the ROG logo beside it. There are hidden accents too on both the lid and the underside of the laptop, which can be revealed by shining the included UV flashlight on it.

ASUS included a custom mesh-like stainless steel Armor Cap for the ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition, and one of the rubber feet on the base has been replaced with a stainless steel piece to allow the laptop to be more easily moved around with a single hand.

The keyboard deck and underside of the laptop have also been replaced with smoky translucent surfaces, and the keyboard is also different with a translucent finish and a custom font. The overall design was inspired by Huston’s motto and attitude, which is evident in the edgy design.

The ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition comes with a custom ROG Strix Impact II, backpack and desk mat, all of which sport Nyjah Huston’s branding.

Unfortunately, neither the ROG Strix Nyjah Huston Special Edition laptop nor its accessories are available for purchase. You can however download the custom Nyjah Huston wallpaper and a Nyjah Huston Instagram filter.

Pokdepinion: At least this looks good… Not like the disgusting ROG Zephyrus G14 ACRNM. Why ASUS decided to sell that abomination of a laptop instead of this beautiful machine beats me though.
