New OPPO A76 Launching Soon In Malaysia With A Price Of RM899

OPPO Malaysia has announced that the OPPO A76, its newest smartphone in the popular A series, will be available in Malaysia beginning 19th February 2022.

OPPO A76 is coming to Malaysia soon

The smartphone follows in the footsteps of the A series by utilising OPPO’s proprietary OPPO Glow Design manufacturing process and is available in two colour options: Glowing Blue and Glowing Black. The OPPO A76 has a 6.56-inch HD display with an impressive 89.9% screen-to-body ratio thanks to the OPPO punch-hole display design. In addition, it has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Aside from that, the fingerprint sensor has been placed at the phone’s side.

Under the hood, the A76 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with support for microSD expansion up to 1TB. The smartphone also has support for OPPO’s RAM
Expansion feature which can turn part of the A76’s storage into virtual 5GB RAM.

The OPPO A76 also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology which can get 3.5 hours of use with just a 5-minute charge. OPPO also included features such as Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby and Optimized Night Charging that can help improve the battery use efficiency.

The device features a dual-camera setup which includes a 13MP f2.2 main sensor and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera for Portrait Mode shots. The camera setup also supports 6x digital zoom, an AI Palette editing feature as well as HDR. It also has an 8MP front camera with a pixel size of 1.12um and an aperture of f2.0 that is capable of taking pictures up to 3264 x 2448 resolution. The front camera also features beautification technology and 360° Fill Light that can take brighter and clearer pictures in dim environments.

The OPPO A76 will be available from 19th February for a retail price of RM899 and will come in two colours: Glowing Blue and Glowing Black. The A76 can be purchased through the OPPO Brand Store, OPPO Official Online Store, selected authorised dealer stores and E-commerce partners such as Shopee and Lazada. It will also be available through telcos Maxis, Celcom and U Mobile beginning 5th March.

Pokdepinion: Sad to see that the A76 will not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack which is an instant no-buy in my book.
