New Hearthstone Expansion, Voyage To The Sunken City, Coming This 12th April

Voyage to the Sunken City, Hearthstone’s first expansion for 2022, will be released on April 12! Players will be able to use 135 new cards to uncover the secrets of the sunken city and discover what lurks beneath the surface-facing Colossal sea creatures and territorial Naga.

Voyage to the Sunken City takes you underwater

Players will join an adventurous group of explorers on an expedition to the ancient city of Zin-Azshari, which has been submerged for over 10,000 years. To survive the Sunken City, new and returning adventurers will encounter a beautiful yet terrifying world as they use deck-altering keywords and powerful new cards in battle against dreaded new minions. Here’s what players can expect from Hearthstone’s new expansion:

• New Minion Type: Naga – The vengeful Naga are a new minion type coming with this expansion and becoming a permanent addition to Hearthstone. They were destroyed by their thirst for power and cursed for all eternity. The Naga are a spell-focused minion that provides bonuses for casting one or more spells while the Naga are in your hand.
• New Keyword: Dredge – Don’t you despise it when the one card you require is at the bottom of your deck? Not any longer! Dredge is a new keyword that allows you to choose one of the bottom three cards in your deck to bubble up to the top. These Dredge cards can be combined with new Azsharan cards that send a powerful “Sunken” card to the bottom of your deck. Dredge can help you get exactly what you need, whether it’s sunken treasures, your cool new Legendary, or a well-timed burn spell.
• New Keyword: Colossal – The ocean depths are home to a slew of massive monsters, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. These massive creatures are too large to fit on a single card! Minions with the Colossal keyword have extra appendages that synergize powerfully with their main body. Even if the Colossal was not played from hand, these appendages are summoned along with the main body.

The pre-order period for Voyage to the Sunken City has begun.
