Lenovo Launches Brand-New ThinkPad Z Line in Malaysia
Lenovo recently announced that the new ThinkPad Z13 and ThinkPad Z16 models are now available in Malaysia, with prices beginning at RM6,879.13 and RM7,879.55, respectively.
The laptops in the series have biodegradable bamboo and sugarcane packaging and recycled black vegan leather and metal. Not only that, they feature an FHD camera with a bigger sensor, an automatic e-Shutter for privacy, and dual-array microphones are all part of the Communications Bar.
The ThinkPad portfolio’s highest screen-to-body (STB) ratio is 91.6% for the Z13 variant and 92.3% for haptic ForcePad 120mm in size in both the Z13 and Z16. The laptops also offer options for vivid displays, including touch-enabled displays.
The Z13 has 2.8K OLED and the Z16 has 4K OLED, both with Dolby Vision compatibility and reduced blue light with Dolby Atmos Speaker System and AI noise cancelling technology from Dolby Voice TrackPoint’s new double-tap feature initiates Communication. The QuickMenu allows you to quickly access camera and microphone options.
The AMD Ryzen PRO U-Series CPUs with integrated AMD Radeon graphics and a Microsoft Pluton security processor power the Z13 and this variant is also available with an AMD Ryzen PRO 6860Z CPU. On the other hand, the AMD Ryzen PRO H-Series CPUs with integrated AMD Radeon graphics or optional AMD Radeon RX 6500M discrete graphics power the Z16, which also has the Microsoft Pluton security processor.
On the Z13 and Z16, AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 Series CPUs with Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 provide superior management and industry-leading Wi-Fi connectivity. Furthermore, Qualcomm 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous (DBS) on AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 Series CPUs allows Wi-Fi Dual Station’s continuous low latency capability, which is natively supported on Windows 11.
Windows 10 Pro 64 is preloaded in Windows 11 Pro 64 via downgrade privileges and a match-on-chip fingerprint scanner is incorporated into the keyboard for security convenience.
