The full gloriousness is reserved only for PC gamers though, with Battlefield 2042 packing ray-traced ambient occlusion only on PC. Obviously, neither NVIDIA DLSS nor NVIDIA Reflex are available on the consoles, so the best experience in the game is definitely going to be had on the PC platform, with the definitive experience on GeForce RTX-based PCs.

Initially, we thought Battlefield 2042 will drop raytraced graphics, considering that is set to be a fast-paced shooter, where every frame counts. But with NVIDIA DLSS, the performance impact is minimized, while improving visuals. NVIDIA Reflex is also implemented to help you get the extra edge by optimizing system latency for maximum competitiveness.

Battlefield 2042 will be launching 19th November, with Gold or Ultimate Edition owners getting early access this 12th November.
