Gamers Hideout: Why Did the Pokemon Tote Bag Go Missing?

As many of you may know by now, Gamers Hideout had a pre-order special for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the latest Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch. However, online pre-order customers didn’t receive it. Here’s what went down.

Gamers Hideout: Missing Pokemon Tote Bags

Gamers Hideout had a pre-order special for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, where customers can get their hands on Pokemon-themed tote bags for free. However, a good chunk of customers didn’t receive it, at least not yet. The only ones who did get it are the ones who visited their physical stores.

Unsurprisingly, this caused a lot of gamers to be upset with Gamers Hideout. They have since posted on their official Facebook page about the matter, apologizing for the issue and giving a solution which is to contact everyone who has yet to receive their tote bag in order for it to be delivered. Those of you who have pre-ordered it will not have to write in as they will contact you instead.

We then contacted Gamers Hideout for further clarifications on the matter, and they cited issues with the tote bags arriving late and BEST Express as the reasons for the issue. They also mentioned about moving forward by coming up with a solution with BEST Express, and they will be officially changing to GDEX for deliveries.

For now, they are looking to rectify issue and they will be making some changes to ensure that there will be no more issues about it in the future. If you have been affected, do be patient as they will contact you about it but if you have received no communications from them, do contact them about it just in case.

Pokdepinion: Unlike before, this is a rather small issue and I personally feel that it mostly can’t be helped as it’s outside of their power. With that being said, communication efforts could be better but it is what it is. Hopefully with the change to GDEX, nothing like this will happen again.
