HUAWEI Malaysia Launches Latest Flagship Smartphones; HUAWEI P60 Pro and Mate X3
HUAWEI Malaysia has officially announced its latest photography flagship smartphone, the HUAWEI P60 Pro, along with the ultra-light and thin foldable phone, Mate X3. These devices are sure to catch the attention of mobile phone enthusiasts, with the P60 Pro boasting exceptional camera capabilities and stylish design. Meanwhile, the Mate X3 features an industry-leading foldable smartphone that sets a new standard for how light, thin and reliable a foldable smartphone can possibly be.
HUAWEI P60 Pro
The HUAWEI P60 Pro promises to deliver a sublime sensory experience with its stunning design and exceptional performance. The device features an Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera with Multiple Lens Groups, the first of its kind in the industry, which boosts light intake with hardware that does not affect the device’s thin and lightweight build.
The HUAWEI P60 Pro adopts the New Quad-Curve Display with HUAWEI-exclusive durable Kunlun Glass panel. With a strong array of display features, the HUAWEI P60 Pro became the first mobile phone in the world to be certified with TÜV Rheinland Color Accuracy Dual Certification (Colour Accuracy & Precise Colour Projection). The device is also equipped with a 4,815 mAh high-capacity battery that is placed in a compact body of only 8.3mm in thickness and supports 88W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge.
The HUAWEI P60 Pro is available in two variants: 8GB RAM / 256GB storage, priced at RM4,699, and 12GB RAM / 512GB storage, priced at RM5,499, offering Rococo Pearl and Black colour options.
HUAWEI Mate X3
The HUAWEI Mate X3, on the other hand, features an ultra-light weight of 239g and an astounding thickness of 11.08mm while folded, and 5.3mm while unfolded – making it the world’s slimmest and lightest large-screen foldable smartphone.
The device is equipped with a 6.4-inch 3D OLED exterior screen and a 7.85-inch foldable OLED internal screen, with both interior and exterior screens supporting ultra-high resolution and 426 PPI pixel density. The Mate X3 is embedded with a 4800mAh large battery and 66W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge, 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge, 7.5W Wireless Reverse Charging, and is IPX8 rated for water resistance.
The HUAWEI Mate X3 is available in Dark Green Vegan Leather and Black for RM8,888.
Pokdepinion: These devices are sure to set the standard for high-performance smartphones and foldable phones in the industry, especially given their retail pricing. One thing I am curious about with the foldable is how reliable and optimized the software / UI is with the added screen real estate. Maybe we’ll find out sooner or later if we get our hands on the new foldable.
