Dell Introduces 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor Designed For Clutter-Free Productivity
Dell Malaysia today announces its latest addition to the monitor lineup – the P2424HT, officially dubbed the Dell 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor. As the name implies, it packs touchscreen, USB-C capabilities into a single unit, and comes with other productivity-focused designs.
The display itself is a 24-inch FHD (1920×1080) 60Hz panel with 10-point touch on Windows and macOS devices (3-point for Linux systems), powered by IPS with 99% of sRGB color gamut; it comes with ComfortView Plus that helps reduce blue light emissions without affecting color performance. As with its touchscreen nature, the stand has also been altered to enable articulation options such as 60° downward tilt from its standard free-standing desktop layout.
Aside from that, it also supports 5° upward tilt, +/-4° rotation, +/-30° swivel and 110mm of height adjustment through a single pivot point, unlike the conventional sliding mechanism in desktop monitors. The bottom edge of the monitor also comes with protective cushions to absorb bumps when adjusted to lie flat on the desk surface. 100 x 100mm VESA mounting option is also available.
As for the I/O options, it comes with single USB-C input that also offers 90W of power delivery to charge laptops; there’s also a RJ45 LAN port that enables wired internet connectivity – a rarity among monitors. There’s also conventional display inputs such as HDMI and DisplayPort 1.2, as well as a pair of USB-A downstream ports and a single USB-C downstream port (with 15W PD).
The Dell 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor (P2424HT) priced at RM1,959 is available now in Malaysia, available on Dell’s website.
Pokdepinion: Quite expensive for the display specs – but it’s more intended for professionals, if anything.
