YTL Communications, through the Yes 5G brand has launched its suite of Pakej Yes 5G RAHMAH plans through an event officiated by Communications and Digital Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil. The Yes Power 35 RAHMAH, available starting tomorrow until end of the year, is set to offer 100GB of data in both 5G and 4G bands, coupled with unlimited call duration, at a monthly price of RM35.

The package also includes 5G-compatible smartphones such as ZTE Blade A73 or Vivo Y55+ 5G at the price of RM240 (costs RM749 and RM1,099 standalone respectively); or RM120 for first 100,000 B40 citizens. This package comes as a two-year contract and the warranty is covered under the same two-year period.

Yes 5G is also offering a RM58/month Yes Infinite Basic RAHMAH Plan that comes with unlimited 5G+4G data, 20GB mobile hotspot and unlimited call time. This 24-month contract offers 5G-capable phones from major smartphone makers such as Samsung, HONOR, Oppo, Redmi, vivo and ZTE.

Civil servants will also be eligible for RAHMAH Civil Servants Postpaid Incentive Plan (Insentif Postpaid RAHMAH untuk Penjawat Awam), launching in 16th September 2023, which offers up to RM120 discount on Yes 5G’s RAHMAH postpaid plans. Yes 5G offers a monthly RM10 rebate for 12 months for Yes Infinite Basic, Infinite Standard, Infinite Premium and Infinite Ultra plans; all plans include unlimited and uncapped 5G+4G data, unlimited calls and additional hotspot quota.

Pokdepinion: Very enticing options – only a matter of time before 5G picks up its adoption rate.
