A New Radeon Challenger Appears, This Time AMD RX 7600 XT In Both 10GB and 12GB Variants
Remember when AMD’s Scott Herkleman says AMD’s RDNA3 lineup is complete? Turns out, perhaps not quite. @harukaze5719 recently spotted an entry in EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) that lists multiple PowerColor GPUs that bears the name ‘RX 7600 XT’. As a refresher, AMD has only released the non-XT model of the RX 7600 so far.
The more interesting part of this finding is the VRAM listed on the entry. Apparently there will be two versions with 10GB and 12GB of VRAM to choose from (which likely uses 160-bit and 192-bit GDDR6 respectively), which of course offers slightly more capacity over the 8GB on the vanilla RX 7600. These two variants are listed for both PowerColor Hellhound and Fighter AIB designs.
However, questions remain as to which particular silicon this new SKU may end up using. Since the regular RX 7600 is using the full Navi 33 die (with no cut-downs), the most plausible theory is that the XT variant may end up using a heavily cut-down version of Navi 32 currently used by RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT, in addition to some laptop-bound models.
Aside from that, there’s also mentions of Radeon RX 6750 GRE which sports 12GB of VRAM. Whether this is a global model or another Chinese-exclusive model like RX 7900 GRE is so far anyone’s guesses.
