DJI Mini 4 Pro Unveiled, Improves On The Lightweight Design

DJI has just introduced its latest lightweight drone model, the DJI Mini 4 Pro – maintaining a sub-249g weight (no exact figures, however), it’s O4 transmission technologies can provide up to 20km of range and the drone itself can sustain up to 45 minutes of flight time with Intelligent Flight Battery Plus (not available in European regions due to legal limitations, which limits them to 34 minutes).

On the camera side of things, the Mini 4 Pro comes with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor, a new “image-processing platform” and dual native ISO, with f/1.7 aperture, 48MP resolution that supports up to 4K60 HDR or 4K100 in slo-mo modes. The camera is capable of tilting up to 60° for wider articulation and better flexibility for creators and operators. There’s also the True Vertical Shooting for your TikTok, Reels or YouTube Shorts needs.

Like many of DJI’s drones, it comes with its fair share of pilot-assisting features such as Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS), using multiple sensors to avoid obstacles and diverts when necessary. There’s also various pilot automation to reduce workload for drone operators in long distance flights between shoots.

For the Mini 4 Pro, DJI offers four purchase options to choose from: the cheapest option starts at RM3,399 which is paired with RC-N2 controller, whilst the second option, at RM4,189, changes that to the RC 2 controller instead. The third “Fly More Combo” and fourth “Fly More Combo Plus” offers additional battery packs, costing RM4,599 and RM4,889 respectively.
