There’s been speculations over the past few months on the latest Call of Duty title to hit the market. Now it’s been confirmed that it will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game’s publisher, Activision, has released the official trailer for the game.

If you’re confused on the title of the game, well don’t feel bad (I’m sure a lot are too). The latest game from the CoD franchise is actually a reboot of the 2007 original game, where Infinity Ward has said that the game is “not a remake, but a reimagining”.

Simply put, the game is not based on the same universe as the original trilogy but you will indeed see some iconic faces in the game such as Captain Price, who happen to have a new voice actor.

As usual, the game will come with a multiplayer mode. We’ve previously wrote on this year’s CoD will come with a campaign too and it has also been confirmed. Infinity Ward has revealed that your progression in the campaign will be carried over to multiplayer.

Interestingly, the game will offer cross-play across all platforms. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to launch on the 25th of October 2019 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Pokdepinion: I won’t lie, I’m pumped up for the game. For those who said that this year’s Call of Duty title won’t be another title from the Modern Warfare series, well here’s Activision/Infinity Ward’s answer to you.
