Disney Dreamlight Valley Celebrates Full Launch With First Expansion
Gameloft has globally launched Disney Dreamlight Valley, moving it out of Early Access, accompanied by a free content update named “The Pumpkin King Returns.” The release includes a new adventure in the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time paid expansion pass. Additionally, the company also introduced Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade.
The full launch introduces an update for base game players, featuring Jack Skellington from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It also brings the much-anticipated multiplayer feature, allowing 2 to 4 players to explore a friend’s Valley, trade crafting items, and make purchases at Scrooge McDuck’s Store. A Royal Winter Star Path with seasonal cosmetic items will be available until January 24th, 2024.
For those with the base game, the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time paid expansion pass launches today, taking players on a journey to Eternity Isle with a new storyline. The first act introduces new Villagers: EVE from Disney and Pixar’s WALL•E, Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled. Players with the paid expansion, Gold Edition, or Arcade Edition will receive bonuses, including the Jester Monkey companion and Gilded Royalty Outfit.
Simultaneously, Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition is released on Apple Arcade, offering a dedicated game experience playable on various Apple devices. It includes both the base game and the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion pass, with updates for both components. However, this edition excludes seasonal Star Paths and the Premium Shop features.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available on all major platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One series, Nintendo Switch, PC (via Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store), and macOS (via Mac App Store). The Arcade Edition of the game is exclusively available through Apple Arcade, accessible through all Apple devices.
