darkflash GD68, The Budget Wireless Compact Keyboard Option, Is Now Available

Fusion Tech Supply Sdn Bhd (FTSMY) today announces the availability of darkflash GD68 – a wireless compact keyboard with a 68-key (65%) layout. This keyboard packs the tri-mode connectivity capabilities, meaning you can connect it wirelessly through either Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, or connect it with the included USB-C cable. This versatility is also complemented by three onboard device profiles for easy device switching.

The 68 keys come equipped with K Yellow Switches (linear), which, according to the spect sheets come with an initial force of 45±5gf, with an actuation point of 2.0±0.6mm and full key travel of 4.0±0.4mm. The switches themselves are rated for 50 million keystrokes. As for the keycaps, it comes with multiple color choices, all of which are PBT doubleshot keycaps for better durability.

The keyboard comes with a 1200mAh onboard battery that provides up to 90 days of use under “moderate conditions”. (We don’t know what this exactly means, but since there’s no RGB to begin with – we think it’s simply just not mashing the keys 24/7.) Should you need to recharge, you can do so with USB-C charging, which can be done in just 2 hours. Considering you’ll only need to charge once every three months effectively – pretty neat.

Distributed under FTSMY, the darkflash GD68 is now available in Lowyat Plaza KL, PC builders, and online stores nationwide (Shopee), with a price of RM149. Two colors will be offered in the Malaysian market – Milky Brown, and Starry Blue. A standard 1-year warranty applies and will be backed by FTSMY (as long as the product comes with yellow stickers on the packaging).

Pokdepinion: The brown version has a bit of that typewriter aesthetic going for it, isn’t it?
