We received a limited edition Kingston Mini Dragon USB flash drive so we’re going to unbox and talk a little bit about it. Without further ado, let’s dive right into it.

Unboxing the Kingston Mini Dragon USB Flash Drive

The Kingston Mini Dragon USB Flash Drive comes in an egg-shaped packaging, making it feel like you pulled out an egg toy except the product that rests within isn’t a mystery. Upon opening it, all you get is the cute USB flash drive itself, clad in green.

In case you’re wondering, the dragon itself serves as a case for the flash drive as the actual storage device is on the golden part of the head, which I believe are the fins as it doesn’t look like horns to me. Kingston does refer to it as its “punk hair” so take it as you see fit. Unlike the Mini Rabbit USB drive, this one is a hefty 128GB in storage, so you can save quite a lot of data inside. With the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, you can expect up to 200MB/s and 60MB/s of read and write speeds respectively.

Interestingly, we also received what looked like a Kingston-themed VHS tape but as it turns out, it was a diary / planner. If you’re the kind of person who prefers a more handwritten approach to managing your busy lifestyle, I’m sure you would love this.

Customers will be given complimentary red packets with the purchase of the USB drive, with a chance to win an iPhone 15 through a lucky draw. It does work on Windows, Mac, and Linux so it should easily fit a wide variety of consumers.
