Honkai Impact 3rd Unveils Mars Adventure In Upcoming Part 2 Release
Honkai Impact 3rd announces the launch of the Part 2 storyline, which will be available starting February 29, 2024, ushering players into a Mars-bound adventure. Having fought against the Honkai disaster in Part 1 and Part 1.5, players will now team up with new characters, explore new maps, engage in new combat scenarios, and face new monsters in this new story.
In Part 2, players will meet three new friends: Senadina, a lively and uplifting girl with striking red hair; Helia, a skilled warrior and reliable partner; and Coralie, a petite girl wielding a giant hammer as her weapon. The journey will take players to locations on Mars – including Oxia City, a modern metropolis, and Langqiu, a city with a steampunk vibe. Combat remains pivotal, with optimizations including more intelligent monsters and enhanced aerial combat mechanics.
To celebrate Part 2’s grand opening, time-limited in-game events offer players rewards like Battlesuit Supply Cards, S-rank Battlesuit Option 2024, Anniversary Stigmata, and Anniversary Emblems. Exploring the main story chapter and completing tasks grants players Coralie Character Card, her recommended weapon, and Anniversary Frame. The featured event will also offer players an opportunity to acquire Disciplinary Perdition’s new outfit.
Down here on Earth, miHoYo is collaborating with Razer and iBUYPOWER for specially themed gear and peripherals which are expected to be revealed in due course. The studio is also hosting offline events and activities in locations like LA and Bangkok to provide players with opportunities to gather and experience the game.
The developers say Honkai Impact 3rd will continue to support cross-saves on PC and mobile platforms in Part 2. The game will also debut in macOS via Mac App Store “in the near future”, so watch this space! In the meantime, you can watch the highlight preview here, and the special livestram here.
