LG Introduces Two New UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitors To Malaysian Markets
LG Malaysia is bringing its latest UltraGear OLED monitors – the 34GS95QE and the 39GS95QE – to retail stores soon. Both will go on sale in May 2024, though pre-orders are now open.
Both the 34-inch and 39-inch monitors are functionally identical, with the same 3440 x 1440 WQHD 240Hz OLED panel housed in an 800R curvature, which LG says is ideal if your viewing distance is 80cm away from the screen, allowing a direct line of sight on the entire field of view. Aside from that, it also features DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification with up to 98.5% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.
Recent improvements in anti-reflective panels are also reflected on these monitors (pun intended): the OLED panel comes with MLA+ (Micro Lens Array+) technology that helps reduce glare and boosts luminance (in other words, brightness).
Other features include dual-input PBP/PIP mode, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and a built-in calibration mode (hardware sold separately). I/O-wise, both come with a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 input, a USB upstream port, two USB-A downstream ports, and a 4-pole 3.5mm jack.
Both the 34GS95QE and the 39GS95QE are now open for preorders on both Lazada and Shopee, with the 34-inch model priced at RM5,999 and the 39-inch model at RM6,999.
Pokdepinion: Very tight curvature compared to most curved monitors that I’ve seen.
