AEON Bank has announced a strategic alliance with leading digital payments provider Visa with the introduction of the AEON Bank x Visa Debit Card-i. The collaboration will also further expand to encompass a range of digital payment solutions, geared towards Malaysian consumers seeking secure and Islamic-friendly banking solutions that adhere to Shariah principles.

The bank is part of the Japanese-based AEON Group, which has enjoyed significant local presence here in Malaysia for over 40 years, though the history of the company as a whole dates back to over 200 years in its home country.
